The basics of working at home

In this day and age, more and more people are starting to try to find more and more legitimate ways to make money from home. More moms and dads are wanting to stay at home with their children, yet make a living. My blog will let you know what works, what doesn't, and I will let you know what I am making at least on a weekly basis from the online businesses I partake in.

Businesses I currently invest time in:

Associated content
I have been writing for Associated Content for 6 months now, and I really like writing. If you ever had an interest in writing short, informative articles, or wanted to voice your opinion, Associated content is the place to do it! It is completely free to sign up and write, and they pay very quickly, Articles need to be at least 400 words long, and be completely original content from you! Content managers usually offer $3.00- $10.00 per offer, and there is a performance bonus too! The nicest thing is 99% of articles are made an offer for payment. Payments are normally made through paypal. If you don't have a paypal account, get one here http://www.paypal.com

Helium
Helium works like Associated Content, except the site doesn't buy your articles, you make money by the traffic that is drawn to your article. On one of my articles for Easter crafts, it made over $40.00. You have the chance to rate other writer's articles, and helium also gives you great ideas to use on other writing sites (Topic wise)
This site is also is free to sign up on, and also pay through paypal.

Fairy tale Treasure< Fairy Tale Treasures is a brand new site, just been around since April 2007. The great benefit to that is the fact that you have the opportunity to get a lot of referrals because not very many people are members yet. However, you don't have to have any referrals to make money.
I joined on June 12, 2007 and took my first look around on the site. I got a $1 sign-up bonus right when I signed-up so I knew I only had to get $9 more in order to test out their payout system. I got that with a matter of minutes!
Here is the link to sign up:

*IMPORTANT TIP ON ALL GPT SITES:

Clean your junk cookies between each offer EVERYTIME. When you do one offer, it puts cookies on your computer from the advertiser so they can tell you have already been there. If you don't clear out these cookies and you go on to do more, you may not get credit because it shows you as have already done one with that advertiser.

You can clean out all your cookies, but if you do, you will have to sign back in with cashcrate because you wont be signed in anymore. To do this you can do the following:
1. Go to "Tools" in the taskbar on the top of your web browser.
2. Click on "Internet Options"
3. Click on "Delete Cookies", "Delete Files", and "Clear History"
4. Do this after 'completing' each offer and you will see a greater number of offer approvals.

You can manually do it by going to tools, options, cookies, view cookies and deleting all the cookies except what you need such as cashcrate and any other important sites you belong to.

However, if you want to save time and automate the cookie cleaning, I would suggest downloading a cookie cleaning program from http://www.ccleaner.com, you can specifiy which cookies you want to keep and it will delete the rest for you with the click of a button. I USE THIS PROGRAM AND IT IS SOOOOO USER FRIENDLY!

NEWLY ADDED* 9/19/2007

If you decide to go for a few of the GPT sites mentioned, may I also suggest registering with GPT Tracker.

This site is very useful in keeping track of all your earnings in one place, PLUS it allows you to check off the offers you already done. This avoids repeating offers and lowers the risk of unintentional fraud

With these tips and a little determination, I am sure you can make all these sites for you as I have! Feel free to contact me If you have any questions!
