Revamping the old blogstead

A big hello to everyone! I pray everyone is in good health and seeking the Will of God this day. If you follow my blog, you will notice a few changes. I "remodeled" my blog to pay tribute to some of our founding church fathers and early missionaries of the 18th century... Each day, I will try to blog about each of the men I found to be a remarkable tool for the cause of Christ. I pray I do justice to them.

In the center is David Brainerd, a man who had a passion for Native American souls. He traveled up and down the Delaware river and was always in constant danger from native American attacks. One story I find extremely fascinating is the story of David Brainerd and the rattlesnake--Unknown to Brainerd, his every move was being watched by warriors who had been sent out to kill him.
F.W. Boreham recorded the incident:

"But when the braves drew closer to Brainerd's tent, they saw the paleface (Brainerd) on his knees. And as he prayed, suddenly a rattlesnake slipped to his side, lifted up its ugly head to strike, flicked its forked tongue almost in his face, and then without any apparent reason, glided swiftly away into the brushwood. 'The Great Spirit is with the paleface!' the Indians said; and thus they accorded him a prophet's welcome."

Although Brainerd was weak in body, he allowed God to use his life to reach many Native Americans for Christ. He died of tuberculosis at the age of twenty-nine in 1747. Jonathan Edwards preached the funeral sermon and published the diary which David had kept.

It's time we study these great men of faith--the men who kept the same faith Abraham had. If God doesn't change, the power that fell upon these men is ours as well; we just need to repent, return, and restore our fellowship with God! Have you spoken to Him today? He is waiting to hear from you--without prayer, God's power will not fall on you, your ministry, and ultimately, this country as it was a few centuries ago!

Why I Am a Baptist

I believe that Christians should stop fussing and fighting and unite in one body, one church, and one faith!

"But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that everywhere it is spoken against." Acts 28:22.

Have you ever heard the following?... "I just do not believe in denominations, church names, or titles, I am a Christian and I can worship anywhere!" or "I’m a member of the true body of Christ, I don’t believe in organized religion!" or "It doesn’t matter what church you go to as long as you love Jesus and worship God." The various churches in America today are becoming like a hot fudge, strawberry and butterscotch sundae that has been out in the sun too long. This "I’m okay-you’re okay, let’s agree, not worry about doctrine religion today has never done anything for Jesus Christ and never will!

I am a Baptist. If my reasons for being a Baptist are valid–then every child of God should be a Baptist.

Jesus said, "Upon this rock will I build my church." If the Lord’s kind of church is in existence today, where is it?! I want to be a member of the church that is built upon the Rock! I am a Baptist because of the witness of history. John Clark Redpath (1840-1900, Methodist) wrote "I should not really admit that there was a Baptist church as far back as 100 AD, although without a doubt there were Baptist churches then, as all Christians were then Baptist." Robert Barclay (Quaker) "There are also reasons for believing on the continent of Europe, small hidden Christians societies, who have held many of the opinions of the Ana-baptists, have existed from the time of the apostles." (Inner Life of Societies of Commonwealth, pp. 11,12) Alexander Campbell (Disciples of Christ) "From the apostolic age to the present time, the sentiments of Baptists have had a continued chain of advocates, and public monuments of their existence in every century can be produced" (From a debate with McCalla, pp. 378,379).

Whether from our enemies, honest historians or ancient Baptist writings, the historical records and evidence is over whelming–in spite of Roman Catholic confiscation and persecution. Whether you call them Novations, Donatists, Paulicans, Vandois, Waldenses, Lollards, Heretics, Schismatics, Anabaptist, or just plain Baptists, we are the same people. We may be different in detail, but we are equal in essence.

In 1819, the King of Holland appointed Dr. Ypeij, Professor of Theology in the University of Groningen and Rev. J.J. Dermot, Chaplain to the King, both learned men and members of the Dutch Reformed Church, to prepare a history of their church. Here is what they revealed in their authentic volume, published at Breda. "We have now seen that the Baptists, who were formerly called Anabaptists, and in later times, Mennonites, were the original Waldenses, and who, long in the history of the church, received the honor of that origin. On this account the Baptists may be considered as the only Christian community which has stood since the apostles, and, as a Christian society, has preserved pure the doctrine of the gospel through all ages. The perfectly correct, external and internal economy of the Baptist denomination tends to confirm the truth disputed by the Romish Church, that the Reformation, brought about in the sixteenth century, was in the highest degree necessary; and, at the same time, goes to refute the erroneous notion of the Catholics, that their communion is the most ancient." (My Church by J.B. Moody, pp. 311).

Next and most important is the Witness of Scripture. Jesus said in Matt. 16:18 "...and upon this rock (petra), I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." The N.T. Church has never ceased to be, nor does it need to be reformed! Again our Lord said to His churches and to every church to follow "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them... Teaching them to observe all things... and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen" Matt. 28:19,20.

Either the Jerusalem church must be still going strong–or the Lord’s kind of churches are still carrying out the Great Commission until the trumpet blast! I Cor. 11:24-26 "...ye do shew the Lord’s death till He come." A church ordinance needs a church to observe it till Jesus comes back. Eph. 3:21, "Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end, Amen." The church that is in context here is not a universal invisible Body of Christ, rather a visible ecclesia. Our Lord began an assembled, visible church, purchased her with His blood, and espoused Himself to her saying– "I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again, and receive you unto myself."

Our Lord will to make the mistake of thinking He is espoused to a visible New Testament Rachael, and behold on resurrection morning, He is actually married to a universal invisible Leah!

There is only one true church, one true baptism, and one true Body of Christ. Eph. 4:4,5. Therefore as a Baptist, I will earnestly contend for the faith (which was not restored or imparted again during the Reformation) which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 3.

I am a Baptist because of the Bible Doctrines. Triune God, authority of scriptures, doctrines of grace, diety of Christ, correct ordinances, missions and evangelism, pre-millennialism, holy living, democratic church government, separation of church and state and many more. If a person rattles a chain on one end, and it moves on the other end–it must be linked in between!

I am a Baptist because of the witness of others. Every church started by a man apart from the authority of the Lord’s kind of church, has degenerated into worse heresy. All Protestant churches (including Campbellites, Quakers, and Methodist) are direct or indirect daughters of the immoral Roman church. Cults and modern religious societies have about as much authority to rival the N.T. Church as does an Elvis Presley Fan Club! I belong to a church that is over 1900 years old, arrayed with all of the apostles’ doctrines, esteems Christ as her head, and repudiates the Roman Catholic organization as an imposter and a religious whore! The Lord did not address a letter to the Body of Christ in Asia Minor, rather, seven letters to the seven churches!

I am a Baptist because of the divine witness. Jesus Christ walked sixty miles to be baptized by John the Baptist (not John the immerser) Matt. 3:13-17, the apostles were all baptized by John the Baptist, Jn. 1:35, 4:1, Acts 1:22, and the Lord said that John had the authority from Heaven to baptize, Matt. 21:24-27.

You do not have to be a Baptist to go to heaven, nor to be used of God.

I love Christians of various manmade churches, and I abhor a self-righteous attitude, especially in Baptists. Yet I am not ashamed to be known as an Ana-baptist–and I will not abandon my biblical heritage or principals in order to promote unity in the Family of God!

Yes, I believe and wish that all true Christians would come together into one church. If narrow minded Christians would just accept Bible truth, have a teachable spirit, and submit to scriptural Baptist baptism–we could have unity in the Family of God!!!

Slain Abortion Provider's Clinic Closes

WICHITA, Kan. (June 9) - The family of slain abortion provider George Tiller said Tuesday that his Wichita clinic will be "permanently closed," effective immediately.

In a statement released by Tiller's attorneys, his family said it is ceasing operation of Women's Health Care Services Inc. and any involvement by family members in any other similar clinic.

I feel so bad for the family who lost a loved one, and I totally condemn the man who opened fire on this doctor, but I praise the Lord that this clinic of horrors is GONE!

No more babies will be snuffed out...No more silent cries of children that may have been...

Has anyone else felt this sense of overwhelming urgency to get our " affairs in order" since Obama came to the presidency? If not you need to wake up and smell the prophesy.

Awni Shatarat, a Jordanian store keeper commented on Obama's trip to Egypt and the Middle East in general, said, "It's so exciting to have a black man run the entire world,"

Running the entire world? Makes you think, huh?

Now, before I get emails about "my accusations" let me make one thing perfectly clear: I am not naming Obama as the antichrist, nor is it my intention to name anyone else. I mean, hey, I don't even care who the antichrist is, because I won't be around to see him. I will be too busy worshipping and praising the TRUE CHRIST! I am merely saying that we need to wake up to what is going on in the world around us and get those who are lost ready, because folks, time is running out FAST! I believe we are down to the final grains of sand in the hourglass of human history, and if you don't believe me, ask me and I will show you why I believe this. You don't need to necessarily be a Bible expert, I mean crud, you can read the secular news and see what I am talking about, and if you don't, please make this checklist. I like to call it the spiritual health exam:

Is my walk right with God?
Am I reading my Bible?
How is my prayer life?
Am I looking for His return?
Am I a faithful witness to Christ?

If you are doing these things, you should understanding the message in this post. If not, repent and get right. We are losing our next generation to the world's order, the world's philosophy, and the world's confusion.

Are US prisons tough enough for Gitmo Detainees? Let me prove to you that this answer is a big fat NO!

I love when proving my point comes so easy and at the hands of the secular media. Two different stories break near the same point of time (within the last 2 days) and yet have one focal point; What to do with the Gitmo detainees!

Obama says our US prisons are "tough enough" for those detainees responsible wither directly or indirectly for killing 2,749 people and injured countless others proceeding the attacks, and yet in another article, Federal investigators arrest three New York black men who were converted to Islam IN PRISON and one who was part of a re-enter program for prisoners re-entering society decided to attempt a "Jihad" on Riverdale Jewish places of interest including a Temple. According to Jim Fitzgerald, an Associated Press Writer, the four men, James Cromitie, David Williams, Onta Williams and Laguerre Payen, claimed to have met where else?; our prison system! All have prior offenses and served time in prison before.

Even scarier, All are US citizens, and one is of Haitian origins.

What is wrong with this picture?

Prison system is tough enough Obama?

Our prisons are turning out home grown terrorists now? How come? What will happen if we let those from Gitmo Bay come onto US soil into our prisons? Either one of three things will occur: 1.)Other prisoners will kill them, 2.)our US prisoners will be threatened, or 3.)conversions by masses to Islam extremism will occur due to the influence of Gitmo Bay and hateful attitudes already in the hearts of those in the prison system.

Anger begins with one person. One thought and it spreads like a ripple on the water.Paul writes in Ephesians 4 that we must turn from this anger, not to forget it, but to turn from it because it will cause us to act on the anger in a sinful way.

Being Neighborly in Your Neighborhood

I am a little bias when I say, I have the best neighbors in the world! In my little town of Kiowa, Kansas, among all the people God could have had us live near, he placed us in front of some of the best.

Today, while reading my Bible, I receive a knock on the door. It's Joy, our preacher's daughter with an orange smoothie. With a big smile on her face, she says "Mom and I thought you would like this." I take a big old drink in front of her and told her I sure needed this today. It was the tastiest smoothie I ever had.

What does it mean to be "Neighborly?" To some, it means not interfering in the lives of those who they live next to; to not get involved with them in any way. To others, it means being there when the times get tough, and being an encouragement. To me, it's the last example. It means showing God's love for one another by being a blessing, even when you think it will not be a big deal, to the one you are being neighborly to, it may mean a breakthrough!

If we are to be good neighbors in our neighborhood, we must be neighborly. We must be good citizens, and spiritually straight.

Jesus taught a parable of a man traveling down into the valley and beaten severely by thieves. Many people passed his beaten body that were of his own heritage, but they passed him by nevertheless. Then, a Samaritan man came upon him, took him to the inn, dressed his wounds, and cared for his afflictions. The man beaten was a Jew, not Samaritan, yet, the Samaritan man showed compassion. He said to the inn keeper, whatever this man requires, do it to him, and when I pass this way again, I will give it to you. Which of these men were his true neighbor?

Today, I have received a great revelation: Although I am neighborly to my preacher and his family, I need to be more neighborly to those around me who are not a part of our Christian community. Christians have a duty to show love not only within the church but also within the neighborhood.
So...
I am going to be fervently praying about what God wants me to do to be more neighborly to those around me. Perhaps it is just introducing myself and getting to know them; maybe it is just sending them a note through the mail. Whatever it may be, I know God will be in it.

By the way, neighbor does not always imply those who live next to you...It could be someone who you know that needs to see God's love. I encourage you today to be a neighbor to someone.

Leviticus 19:18: "Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD."

Easily Offended Christians

I received a newsletter from Peter Youngren, an evangelist that hits it dead on this time. Now, I can't say I agree with Peter on every theological or doctrinal standpoint, but in this newsletter, he makes a great point on offended Christians. Read on.

Easily Offended Christians

There are a lot of offended Christians these days. Some of the things which seem to cause outrage and offense are; profanity on television, open display of homosexuality in movies and on television, humor that degrades Christian values. Well, that’s just for starters. When Christians express outrage, shock and offense, it is as if that expression in itself is a badge of spirituality. “Look at me; how shocked I am at the sin and worldliness around me. Shouldn’t you react in a similar way? Aren’t you equally shocked? Well, maybe your spiritual sensitivities aren’t as fine-tuned as mine”.

There is only one problem with all of this. Can you think of a single time in scripture when Jesus was offended by the sins of unbelievers? The only time you could find something akin to offense in Jesus was when he spoke forthrightly to the self-righteous, hypocritical religious leaders. In fact, Jesus forewarned us that if we are persecuted for our beliefs we should not be surprised or offended. “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”, (John 16:33).

Here is the catch. If we are easily offended or shocked, we become either isolationists or attackers of the very society, which we are supposed to reach. Isolationists live in a cloistered environment with little or no influence on those on the outside. Attackers are resisted, much like we would react on a lovely summer night when hornets start buzzing around our picnic table. We find no example in scripture that Philip was offended at the witchcraft in Samaria. What about Paul’s reaction in godless, sinful, Corinth or idolatrous Athens? In neither instance do we find offense or rebuke of pagan behavior, but rather a focused pointing towards Jesus Christ as the only hope.

Everyone of the individuals who carry out what you and I may deem as offensive acts, are included in the reconciliation that Jesus provided by His death on the cross. Easter reminds us that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. The message of the Cross is the only power able to transform human behavior. Let’s not be shocked by the world around us, but let’s look for opportunities to get to know people, to share their lives and to tell them what Jesus has done for us. Happy Easter!

Oh, I am not saying Jesus did not name sin, we see evidence to the contrary when he overthrew the tables in the Temple, but his wrath was toward those in control of the Temple who were not teaching the people right. No wonder the Jews were not doing right...

Let's not be offended. Living righteously is not living higher than others, but lowly and humbly, always looking for ways to help others without Jesus Christ. We will reach them not by crucifying words but by crucifying our self righteousness attitudes.

He's Alive and so are we!

This Resurrection Sunday let us resurrect with him and be revived as a church!

A prayer that should be said in every Senate meeting...

I was reading our Newsgram, the local news paper and I came across a prayer written by Joe Wright that was written and prayed in a Kansas State House of Representatives on January 23, 1996. Wright was the guest Chaplain for that day.

This is the prayer that was prayed:

"Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to ask Your Forgiveness and seek Your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, ''Woe to those who call evil good,'' but that's exactly what we have done.

We have lost our Spiritual equilibrium and inverted our values.

We confess that; we have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it pluralism;

We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism;

We have endorsed perversion and called it an alternative lifestyle;

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery;

We have neglected the needy and called it self preservation;

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare;

We have killed our unborn and called it choice;

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable;

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem;

We have abused power and called it political savvy;

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition;

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression;

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, O God, and know our hearts today; try us and see if there be some wicked way in us; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent here by the people of this state and who have been ordained by You, to govern this great state of Kansas. Grant them your wisdom to rule and may their decisions direct us to the center of Your Will.

Folks, we need boldness and conviction prayed in our homes for each of our state governments. We need to pray with conviction this prayer for our president as well. Imagine what God's people can do if we just pray until something happens....We can complain all we want but if we do not believe in prayer for change, nothing will change. I challenge you to prayer for 1 month over our government. I will do the same.

Barack and the Tonight Show...My thoughts...

Ok, So, where do I start...

I was prepared to just rail on President Obama and how his mouth spewed ignorance once again on the Tonight Show with jay Leno Last night. Man, was I going to let him have it!

I did not personally watch the live version, but I did watch clips of the show that aired last night, and it is no surprise to me what he said...

However, I will not be re-telling the details...

Why?

Because of Hebrews 12:14 and 15

"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

¹⁵Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled"

And...

Proverbs 14:7.

"Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge."

I seen myself become bitter as I was typing some rather harsh words, but as I was looking for scripture to back up my position against him, God showed me those verses and it affected my thinking. He doesn't want me to be bitter against men who talk foolishly, plus, what good will it do for me to rail on our president? It isn't as if he would see my blog anyway. all the railing does is plant bitterness.

The news keeps getting worse and worse doesn't it? The Kansas news opens up with a college woman who will re-open a bar and she had no problem stating her reasons; People drink for two reasons: They either drink because they are depressed or they drink because they are happy. Either way, she is going to cash in on it.

The next thing I hear, less people are considering themselves "Christian." Churches are turning to changing their churches into cafes in order to woo people "back to God." The "Ala Carte' " Religion is what people choose to avoid conflicts in social and political arenas.

And the icing on the cake, Barack Obama signed into law that embryonic stem cells can now be used to shoot him into super stardom and many parentless children that never will be will never see the light of day will now lose the right to life...

I just want to yell out WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE????!!!

But in light of this news, there is hope and a great work to do...

In light of the "news" this is not new. If you read the Old testament of the Bible, People intoxicated themselves freely, gave into wickedness, forsook the law of God, and sacrificed their babies to Baal... No different than today...

The good news is that Jesus is coming back for those saved by His work of the Cross, and so many signs tell us that it is soon! We should not be depressed that things are getting the way they are, We should not "faint" or be weary in well-doing, but it should motivate us to take more souls with us when He does come again...

Jesus says in Matthew 24:10-13 that right before His return in: "And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

¹¹And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

¹²And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

¹³But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."

CBS news tonight that non-denominational churches are on the rise, and our newest adult generation is the least religious group in the world...

Jesus is coming folks... We don't know when, but I have never seen so many signs...Have you?

We need to reach people for Christ, the time is yesterday, for we may not have tomorrow....Ponder on that for a while.....

I encourage every Bible believing born again Christian to read 1 and 2 Timothy today and look at the parallels between today's world and what is predicted before the rapture...

Hi all,

It's late here now, and with the spring forward, I am especially tired now so I will make this short. but I couldn't wait to get this blogged until tomorrow.

I was searching for a website I recently was on that has a free online audio Bible. In my search for that website, I came across another: Faith Cometh By Hearing. This website has over 200 languages (even those in remote areas of the world) in audio format. Not only that, you can download the bible in your choice of languages.

Now, I am sure some of you are thinking, why would anyone want the Bible in a language other than your own? Well, if you think about it with a missionary's mindset, it isn't difficult to figure out. Whether you are being led to the mission field, or have someone living near you that speaks another language, this can help you overcome the language barrier and win others to Christ. I recommend the King James Version with dramatic reading. The music in the background and the different voices playing out the parts of the scriptures, it really brings it to life, and the Bible is God's living word Amen?

Hershey company announced more jobs moving to Mexico-My thoughts...

They said it would happen eventually...Rumors on the internet have been flying since 2007, and now, it is finally coming to fruition, and it is starting with the York Peppermint Patty plant in Reading Pennsylvania. nearly 300 jobs will go to Monterey, Mexico.
According to WNEP, a local news station of Pennsylvania "...the chocolate maker is closing the plant Friday and moving production to a new factory" over the border.
I find this very disheartening. I see the main plant in Hershey leaving next. With labor cheaper in Mexico and other places across the globe, companies are taking the coward's way out as far as I am concerned and not seeking God to give them their next move. Sad...One of my fondest memories as a child was of the smell of chocolate cooking near the Hershey Stadium on cold November nights while our marching band waited to make our appearance on the field to compete in the Hershey Championships. The smell was comforting to my body as the high school band focused on putting on a great show. We would be nervous, but the chocolate looming in the air was enough to settle us down and relax us.

We must not only be concerned about the jobs that Pennsylvania is losing, but also the standards of food quality as well. It is no big secret that water is a prime component in the melting process and used to clean the equipment. it is also no big secret that bacterium and parasites exist in Mexican water otherwise referred to as "Montezuma's revenge." Furthermore, these parasites and bacterium may not only be contracted in Mexico, but all of Latin America and other developing countries of the world.

I am almost scared to think that there will have to be a warning on the labels of the risk of eating a Hershey bar in the near future...

As we traveled to church last night, our radio was turned on WKREJ, a local Christian radio station. The news reporter talked about a research study done with the cooperation of General Electric employees to help smoking employees quit their dirty habit. The researchers found that money is a great incentive...Big surprise? Not to me.

The researchers found that people were three times more likely to quit smoking within 24 weeks when they were paid up to $750.

Now, the common person would probably say "This is a great idea!" but I do not.This is another ploy to substitute money for the cause of Christ. Please, those of you who like the idea of being paid to quit; Why isn't it enough to know that tobacco use is a major cause of heart attack, stroke and peripheral arterial disease? and to those who are bought with the blood of Jesus- Why isn't it enough that your bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit? One more question- What happens if these "guinea pigs" return to their nasty habit? Do they get another $750.00 to quit again?

What then???

Jesus and His cause should be the uttermost motivation to quit, and I thank God everyday that he took the cigarette away from me. I didn't need money to motivate me, I had the Holy Spirit's conviction-Enough said.

I praise God everyday that I am free from the bondage of cigarettes! I am victorious Amen and Amen!

I have now been smoke free for 1 year and 5 months. I never plan on smoking again, and by God's grace, I will never touch a cigarette again.

UPDATE 1/12/11: I have been free from cigarettes now 3 years and 3 months and I give God ALL THE PRAISE!!!!

I wanted to share my thoughts on something I heard in the news today. Quite sad actually...Pepsi-Co. has donated $500,000 to "Straight for Equality" a program by Parents & Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG). The program seeks to reach out to straight allies and educate them about LGBT issues.

Jacqueline Millan, Director of PepsiCo Corporate Contributions, said:"We are delighted to continue our partnership with PFLAG. The Straight for Equality in the Workplace training program is unique in that it is promoting the necessary message of inclusion to untapped groups within the local community, and that is a crucial step towards building a healthy working environment."

Millan goes on to say that she is not worried about the rebuttals that will come from conservative groups like the Christian community.

I know I am getting a head of schedule, but as you know, the Christmas season is approaching fast, and in just a little over a week, the Christmas shopping season will start.

As a lot of you know, my heart is totally 100% in missions! Well today, I received the very sad news that a missionary was killed on her way to work around 8am Afghan time.

Gayle Williams, 34, a British South African was due into work, when a couple of motorcycle militants shot her down. According to the SERVE Afghan website, her injuries indicated she died almost instantly. She was dedicated to helping disabled Afghans have a good life, despite their infirmities. I pray I can be just a fraction of what she was to the cause of Christ someday!

The Apostle Paul said it best. This Gayle, is for you! You will be missed, but we rejoice that you are in GOD'S Presence today..

The latter picture is special to me. I found it on Photobucket. As I listen to his preaching even right now on Hyles-Anderson radio, I look at this picture and marvel at the building to the right of the church. Why? Because this is where one of the greatest preachers of the 20th century was born. To the left of the house he was born in is the first church Brother Jack pastored.

It's been a sweet evening of preaching! I have been at my computer off and on now since 4 pm, listening to Bro. Jack preaching truths upon truths on the First baptist Church's website.

Bro. Jack Hyles was born September 25th, 1926 in Italy, TX, a suburb in southern Dallas.

He had two siblings who passed away in childhood, and 1 that survived who served with him.

Jack Hyles is near and dear to me. When he use to visit my former pastor, he use to lift up our pastor with fervent exhortation. It was like our Pastor's time to revive. These were the great times I remember from Brother Jack. I remember the brown socks song he taught us. Its a funny little song about preachers wearing brown socks...I will write it down at a later date.

Anyway, I can't wait to see him again...In closing, Dr. Jack once told a story about a little boy that was playing baseball. A man asks "what's the score?" The boy answered 18-0." The man asks, "Who's winning?" The boy answered "The other team." The man replies, "Well, aren't you discouraged?" The boy says with a great big smile on his face, "Nope, We haven't come up to bat yet."

A few days ago, I was enlightened (horrified more like it) to find out that my ex-husband is now dabbling in the Wiccan (A.K.A. WITCHCRAFT, A.K.A. SATANIC WORSHIP as far as GOD is concerned) and I emailed him to ask him what he is doing...He writes back that he has tried several churches, and he finally found something he can believe in.

A snare is what he is caught in...

I, not being one to pre-judge, decided to put on my sleuth suit and implement all the critical thinking skills I learned in the last year of school. Not to my surprise, what I found was horrifying!

what does Wicca uplift? self? How about nature?..Sounds a lot to me like paganism, another lie of the devil. So my question to Wiccans is, you don't worship one god, and certainly the name of Jesus, the one who created everything you see in nature, is never mentioned, so it is a man-made natural religion right?...Is the wind something you worship as well? As I was studying Ephesians (As I've been doing for the last month) I came across some "unsearchable riches, "nuggets" as I call them that made my hair stand on end! It was something Christians probably read a dozen times before they "get" what Paul is saying to the Gentile nation.

10.) To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, (Who's the church? The body of Christ, or the believers) GOD wants us to know things even the angels do not know...Here is a nugget for you believers!

Verse 10 shows us God wants us who are his to have knowledge even beyond what his angels know! How did I get to that conclusion? Just this simple: In order to understand this fully, let's go back to Verse 8:
Paul writes from divine inspiration of God:

"Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;"

Well, what are unsearchable riches? they are truths not revealed yet to us but are hidden within the Bible. They also include things only within the mind of GOD.

The mystery that Paul is talking about is thoughts only God knows about that have been hidden from everything: Angels, man, you name it, no one else knew but God until the right time it was to be revealed.

What are principalities and powers in Heavenly places? The principalities in heavenly places would mean angels right?

We all know what a manifold is right? Well, until I looked up the word,I didn't. The adjective manifold means (I used the adjective because the word manifold is an adjective in this particular verse of scripture.):

1.	of many kinds; numerous and varied: manifold duties.

2.	having numerous different parts, elements, features, forms, etc.: a manifold program for social reform.

3.	using, functioning with, or operating several similar or identical devices at the same time.

4.	(of paper business forms) made up of a number of sheets interleaved with carbon paper.

5.	being such or so designated for many reasons: a manifold enemy.

GOD wants us to share in his many facets of wisdom! All the elements, parts and forms of his wisdom!
HE isn't a GOD who wants to look down on us in our errors, he wants us to know what he knows.

Do you see how GOD wants us to know things even the angels do not know?? MIND BLOWING TO ME!...Free nugget of truth!

In all of man's fault and folly, HE still wants us to have his wisdom...He places man priority over his angels...This is beyond my minuscule comprehension!

A little note on proper dress for ladies...

Good evening everyone,

I wanted to share something that God has been dealing with me on, and it is on the subject of proper dress for ladies. Now I know if I share this with you I am subjecting myself to upholding that of which I write, and in a way, I am doing this so I will be subjected. It will keep me on the right path so to speak...

I was reared by my parents with good moral fiber, except when it comes to this one area of the Bible. I was a rare child in the 70's and 80's. With divorce rampant and all my friends experiencing the pain of going through a divorce with their parents, I was blessed enough to have both parents rear me, and they are still together today after 33 years of marriage!

Anyway, back to my point...

When I was 13, I had some great lady-like influences in my life; Janet Bingaman, Pastor Froelke's wife Connie, among others. They always held feminine modest dress in the highest standards and taught me that girls should not wear things boys wear.

As I got older, The "know-it-all" gene kicked in and I ignored this instruction. On an added note, my mom says to this day- "God looks on the heart, not the outer body." While this may be true, God does explicitly instruct what we ought to wear. He even instructs us not to wear wool with other woven fibers (Deuteronomy 22:11). I am not sure why this is, but I believe it is something to do with the purity of the symbolism of a lamb (the lamb of God-Jesus, ect.) If anyone knows anymore on this, feel free to comment, because I would love to learn!

I wore slacks and pants as recently as earlier this August. I was so backslidden, I couldn't see that I was so in the wrong, not only that, I always felt fat, and my self image suffered tremendously-Until God convicted me of my dress. That first Sunday I went back to church for the first time in a year, I was so convicted on a lot of things. The Holy Spirit had a hay day with me let me tell you! I am glad I decided to go back to church! Not only do I feel more feminine in dresses and skirts, but since I have started wearing dresses and skirts, I feel a confidence I haven't felt in a long time in my self image! God is good! I now need to deprogram my girls on what is proper and what isn't. Abby is very eager to wear dresses and skirts all the time, but Lauren is a more difficult one to get through to. I will be working on her over the next week or so.

UPDATE 9:24 pm My daughter Lauren just hugged me and said" I am glad you are wearing skirts mommy." Wow! I am not fooling...I said to her, "Well my darling, what about you?"
She looked up at me and smiled...Maybe this will be easier than I thought...Pray for her!

Well, I need to get children to bed and do some things before sleep can occur, so I will wrap this up for now. May God bless you and than you for reading.

One of the sweetest memories I have a child was listening to the late Dr. Jack Hyles preach at teen conference or at our church when he was in town. I decided to check into youtube to see if they have any good ole down home, nitty-gritty hard core preaching from ole Brother Jack, and sure enough I found some! It's a 4 part sermon called "The Old Temple" and I encourage you to listen to these clips! It will touch your heart as it has mine!

A Boy and His Boat...

Hello everyone,
I have just a few minutes to write. I accomplished a lot today with ALL the kids being at their first day of school. I will post some pictures later.

I was touched by a wonderful story I heard on Through the Bible with Les Feldick this afternoon about a boy and his boat. Here's the story:

One day, a boy decided that he was going to build his very own boat. He gathered up everything he needed to make this boat. All Winter long he laboriously put pieces together, detailed, painted, waterproofed and literally loved this little sailboat.

The day finally came that his parents took him to the beach, and he took the little sailboat to the beach. He was so happy with his creation as he sailed it floated on the water; but as little children do, he decided to leave his toy for just a few minutes and he went off to explore another part of the beach. When he came back to where he left his boat, the boat was gone!

The child cried bitter tears for his boat. He worked so hard and long on his little sailboat that he ached with sadness. He lost the sailboat that he created.

Days turned into months, and one fall day, his mother and he were walking past a pawn shop and to his surprise, he seen his sailboat in the window! He ran fast to the store, dragging his mother behind him. He barrels through the door and exclaims to the storekeeper, "That's my boat! I would like to have it back please." The store keeper said "No son, I bought it. It's mine until you pay for it." The boy asks the store keeper, "How much is the sailboat?" The storekeeper tells him the price and the boy leaves.

All Winter long, the boy shovels snow, and does extra chores in hope that the sailboat will still be there in the Spring so he can purchase the boat from the storekeeper.

Spring comes, and the boy has the amount the storekeeper asked for, and the boy says to the store keeper, "I saved my money all Winter long, and now, I finally have the amount of money you asked. I would like my sailboat back please." The boy gives the money to the storekeeper, and the storekeeper hands the boy his boat.

The boy proudly clenches his sailboat and exclaims, " I don't know how you came to be in this shop, but you are mine once again! I bought you back!"

I told this story today because this is a perfect example of how GOD repurchased us with Jesus Christ. We were lost, doomed for eternity in Hell with no hope of salvation, kind of stuck in that musty shop like the sailboat; but GOD found something that would REPURCHASE our souls and bring us back into his presence, and that was with his only son's blood. His son's blood is payment in full, past present and future, and without it, people are destined for eternity in Hell.

Today, thank GOD for what he has purchased YOU with!

Hello all,

A lot of you have been asking for updates on our move. Well, we are finally settled in, and here is an update: We moved in officially Early Monday morning July 28th at 12:30 am. I learned a few very important lessons during this time:

LESSON ONE-If you are GOD'S child, GOD moves you where he wants you regardless of how hard you try to go your own way.

Josh and I so much wanted to move to Pennsylvania, but like any loving father, he steers in the direction HE wants you to go. We came up in front of brick wall after brick wall, and we finally gave up. I remember one night, I just looked up and said "God, I quit, you lead..." I repeated this for about 10 minutes. I really thought Pennsylvania was GOD'S will for our family--I would be closer to my family, the countryside is beautiful, and it would give Josh and my kids a fresh outlook on how a family is supposed to function.

GOD showed we this week that we are meant to be where we are in a mighty way. We have been searching for a new church to attend since we are 150 miles from the last church. Well, a few days ago, our neighbor comes over and asks if m if he could trim the brush around our house. Now picture this, he has his hip boots on and a weed whacker in hand with a straw sun hat. I said Thank you and sure! He began trimming around the house and when he was done, Josh and I greeted him with a tall glass of Iced sweet tea, which he gladly accepted. Now, I knew he was a preacher, but I didn't know where he stood, and what his faith statement was. As he sipped his drink Josh, Preacher Matt and I chatted. I asked him if the sweet tea was sweet enough, and he said it's fine, Preacher Matt said you sound like you are from Tennessee. I said , no, but I have been there a few times for a Bible camp called Bill Rice Ranch. He became pale white in amazement and said "I used to work there! That's where I met my wife!" I said "Have you ever met the Umsteads?" He again, turned white and said "YES, I KNOW THEM VERY WELL!" I told them that the Umsteads use to attend Victory Baptist church in its early days and were the Junior church leaders when I was a little girl.

Anyway, long story short, we come to find out "Preacher Matt" who lives right across the street, is a KJV preaching, fundamental, Bible-believing Baptist church preacher!~ HALLELUJAH! We are going tomorrow to check the church out! Preacher Matt also said he now has enough people to run the bus his church owns...Can you believe that? Because we moved here, their bus ministry may now have a better chance of taking off! Tell me this isn't God's will...

LESSON TWO: Satan will attack you at your most joyous!

Last night, my best friend Angie and i were talking via Live messenger, and i was telling her all about the good things that are happening with us. She seemed very happy for us, and we even spoke on the phone while we chatted on the computer. Because of a mis-communication, Angela who has been my friend for nearly 28 years, flipped what seems like an mental switch and started typing some horrible, hateful words to me. Was it jealousy? Was it something I said? Who knows, because after she typed out her hate, she went offline and would not answer the phone.

The switch flipped like a light...Satan somehow took a little joke and literally destroyed a friendship. Satan knows how happy I have been, and he caught me by surprise that's for sure! I was hurt and my mind raced last night a lot, and I said "GOD, you need to quiet my mind so I can rest." He gave me Proverbs 18:24-"A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." That friend is Jesus! I meditated on that verse and closed my eyes, and before I knew it, I was asleep.

It is also noteworthy to mention Proverbs 18:7 as well, which GOD just gave me -"A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul."o please, keep Angela in your prayers. I probably will not be close to her ever again, but I do forgive her. I will never share my heart with her again, but I have Josh, and other Godly friends GOD has put in my midst that will be there for me.

Opportunity Knocks...

Did you ever want to do something so much that you think GOD wants you to do, only to have HIM pull you the opposite way? LITERALLY! This is what has happened to us, or at least this is what we believe.

Many of you know that we requested prayer on which direction GOD wants us to go regarding moving. We thought we needed to move back to PA. We thought this is where GOD wanted us. So we prayed and we house hunted, we prayed some more, and we job searched. But we seemed to be going NOWHERE, I mean absolutely NOWHERE!

Then Thursday happened. GOD revealed himself to us in a mighty way!

Life turns on a dime, no one can refute this, and we are not the exception. On Thursday Josh submitted his resume to a company in Kansas named RSI. RSI is in the inspection and OSHA compliance training business. Anyway, Josh submitted his resume to them at 9:00 am Thursday, and at 9:16 he gets a phone call; RSI wants Josh to meet for an interview Wednesday, July 2 at 4:00 sharp!

Initially Josh applied for a customer service job, but what GOD had in store is way better! The RSI HR Representative offered him a sales job selling their training and inspection services. The pay is around 16.00 per hour, and are you ready for this:Josh would be paid up to 5,000 for every week that he makes the sale goal! This bonus is paid on a quarterly basis.

And if that made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, here is some more ways I can send shivers down your spine: Josh called his grandma who lives only 15 miles away from this company was thrilled when she heard Josh may be working for this company because THE OWNER ATTENDS THE SAME CHURCH AS THEY DO! they known each other for over 20 YEARS! Once josh hung the phone up from speaking with his grandmother, she called the man and told him who will be interviewed on Wednesday, and the owner said that he is more then qualified for the job and that he will tell the interviewer to give Josh extra special consideration!

All I know is that this opportunity was given to Josh by GOD! I believe this! Tyler is even happy about it! He even believes that this is why GOD has been keeping doors shut for PA!

Georgia the black-footed ferret gives birth!

Most people do not know the signifigance of this event, but if you are a wildlife conservationist (I am at heart) The black-footed ferret is on the endangered species list!

The National Zoo's Conservation and Research Center (CRC), in Front Royal, Virginia, has been breeding endangered black-footed ferrets for 20 years to bring them back from the brink of extinction. You now can see this action LIVE! She has had one baby soa far, and I have been sitting here watching her, and it looks like she is becoming restless again.

Answer to Prayer!

Good Evening all,

I just got home from church, and I had to let everyone know that Josh got his bloodwork back from the MD today. No Lyme disease and no Rheumatoid Arthritis!

Hallelujah!

Josh has an upper GI ultrasound to go to on Friday to see if his gall bladder is infected, but even if it is, that surgery is more minor than what he went through in March with his colon!
Continue to keep us in prayer, and THANK YOU to everyone who has done so!

First, two sites I raved about have been suspended. BeachBums and Mycashsafari. I have not been doing GPT sites lately so I do not know when it actually happened, but today I found out. These sites were AWESOME, and I am sorry to see them go. I still wonder why they were suspended....

Second, RainingRiches is closing down as of May 31st. Becki said that all payments will be paid out by June 20th as long as the $20.00 minimum payout is submitted by midnight, May 31st. Another good site going down...

I am a window voyeur by nature. No, that doesn't mean I go around and peek into windows and stare at people..I mean I like to look outside my window and watch others in their everyday life. Just when I think that random acts of kindness are rare, God shows me again, that I am wrong!

I was staring out my bedroom window today, and just as I am ranting at the TV news, God shuts me up AND QUICK! I won't tell you what they were discussing on the news, but it is something I feel very strongly about.

Anyway, I was looking out my bedroom window ranting, and I see this couple trying to move some of their bedroom furniture into their truck...Looks like they are moving out. Looks heavy too...The couple was having difficulties moving a chest of drawers into the truck, when a man was walking by and stopped to ask if they needed help. with the two men doing the lifting the job was done in a few minutes. After the move, I seen a few minutes of conversation, an exchange of a few bucks, a handshake, and the man who stopped to help was on his way.
ON AN ADDED NOTE: I know this may sound weird to some that I bring this up, but if you live in the South, you see a lot of racism BOTH WAYS.I am a victim of racism! Anyway, the man who stopped to help was of a different race than the couple needing help. This is where the blessing lies. We tend to always tend to look at the bad times between two different races. How to make emails for GPT sites fast!!!

What you'll need:
A browser with a multi tab feature such as Firefox
Roboform or similar autofill program
As most of you know who do GPT sites, Advertisers are pretty picky now about the email addresses you use...
Making email addresses use to be a lot easier when you could use Gmail and the dot (.) trick. Since the advertisers caught on and started rejecting payments to the GPT sites when dots are used in conjunction with Gmail, we had to find a way to legitimately make email addresses without spending a whole day making our weekly list.

FYI:
Having a fresh email address for each advertiser EVERY TIME is vital to the completion of most offers. Now that doesn't mean you have to change up your email after EVERY OFFER AND EVERY ADVERTISER, it just means that you should have a fresh email for every advertiser, not offer.

For instance, you complete a Big Buck's survey, and you use myemail@mail.com. the next time you do a big bucks survey, change your email to adifferentemail@mail.com. You should do this EACH AND EVERY TIME you complete a different offer from the same company.
There is a really simple way to make a lot of email addresses in about 10 minutes.

The way I make mine is through mail.com.

Go to http://www.mail.com and click the "Sign up now" button.

On the next screen-choose a login name and choose a category. I prefer using the top choices because you get about 20 choices.
Now this is where it gets fun.... First, if you haven't already done it, PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND DOWNLOAD THE FREE VERSION OF ROBOFORM (click here for Roboform) this will save you A LOT of time filling out all the information over and over again.. Ok got Roboform? Good... You should be on the page that shows a list of different possibilities for your email address right? Right click on the first choice and select "open page in new tab". Do this for all the email addresses you want! Open up each tab and use your Roboform or your computer's autofill information to fill out the information needed to set up the email. Ten email addresses should take no more than 10 minutes. Make email addresses as needed (Preferably once a week) or more if very active. I have been trying out a site called freebiesociety, and all I can say is that it is one of the friendliest, fairest and easiest way to get freebies and make some quick cash EVER!

they almost always have a cool forum posting contest, one of which I just won. All I needed to do is make sure I posted to the contest blog, have at least 20 posts, and have THE LAST POST by 22:00 (10pm) EEST today which I did.
Here is one of the examples of how fair the administrator is: Maverick (The administrator) posted a rule that no one was to double post, meaning you couldn't immediately place a post after your last post. Well, I accidentally did along with a few others and one of the last people in the contest tried to rattle me at the very end to get me to not post anymore, and they said you were disqualified early on in the contest. I emailed the Administrator and he announced in the forum that I did indeed win and that he allowed room for some mistakes by posters. How cool is that?

First off, a great GPT site MUST have a responsive Administrator. This site has one! Her name is Susan, and she tries her best to get to know all the users of the site on a respectable and friendly manner.

Second, a great GPT site needs to have a timely payment system. My Cash Safari has this down, PLUS goes one step further. After you receive your first payment, She places you on a
net-15 day payout system instead of the Net-30! How's that for flexible and convenient! Not only is this site timely, but she has several ways you can receive payment. You choose what's best for you!

Third, a great GPT site has to have great rewards PLUS offers that are new and unique to their site. On a scale of 1-10, My Cash Safari ranks about a 7. Yes, I was up at 5:50am to watch the peak of the Lunar eclipse..It was awesome! I never really took the time to watch one because it happens so slow...and might I add early...

Anyway, The month is rapidly approaching a close..How did you do all my fine GPT friends?
I hope you experienced an even better month than July!

I am going to create a better strategy for next month. I am going to complete all the easy things first (Trivia questions, daily surveys, PTC) then concentrate on free offers last. It's best to go for the sure thing first right? Also, you may see that I added a TON of GPT sites. I tried these all, and They are (in my opinion) very good GPT sites that pay well, and ON TIME.

Another strategy I have for the next month is getting more acquainted with the newer sites that I haven't made anything on yet (My Doggie Dollars, Chillin' Cash, Froggie Funds, Ect.) They have fresh new offers I haven't seen yet on any other website, and I am saving them for September. I am DEFINITELY STICKING TO My Cash Honey because the administrator is very personable and she is very customer service minded. The same with My Cash Safari.
Lori is one of the most friendly Administrators I have the pleasure in getting to know!

Evening all,

Just a quick note to let you know that things are going great here. I am taking the day off tomorrow to be with my man. I am going to try to get him to go to the movies with me to see Balls of fury or Mr Bean's holiday. I can't choose between the two right now.

On a more biz minded note, you may have noticed that I pulled the Dollar store down. After much review and literally dozens of emails to be careful about this site, I decided to stop the store and pursue other biz interests. I have done my own research and not to talk smack about another company, I just felt it didn't meet my standards. Glitch in Dollar PAys and My review of Squishy Cash

Good Afternoon all,

I have 2 things to mention if you are making money on GPT sites.
First, Dollar Pays has had a long term glitch in their payment system that is prohibiting the actual amount that is shown you earn on your homepage and only giving you partial payment. Dollar Pays Administration has been very sporadic with their responses, and emailing them is downright frustrating. I emailed them 3 times about the glitch and they have not responded once. They state in their forums that they are aware of the "Glitch" but since this post 7 days ago, we have not been updated since this post.
My suggestion (And this is only a suggestion) is that you discontinue completing offers until the glitch is fixed because if Administration sees that their sites traffic and earnings go down, this may prompt them to work a little faster at fixing this glitch. I have stopped completing the offers UNTIL they get it fixed. Dollar pays states that the amount you receive in your paypal is the correct amount, but I feel that if the homepage states that you are to receive 5.00, then they should make good on it (earned or not) and pay you what their site shows you earned. How do we know that the homepage isn't correct? Just a thought...

Second, I have finally joined Squishy Cash, and I REALLY LIKE THIS SITE!
I have had about a 90% fast approval rate, and not had one denial to this date. If you haven't joined Squishy Cash yet I would do it before you miss out on payout at the end of the month.

On a more sobering note...I am not sure what is going on with Fairytale treasures and a few other of the GPT sites i have been a member of for a while...This site worked out really well for the first month, then POOF, I am hardly getting anything approved...Even my referrals seem to be the same way. I am not saying this site is not working for others, but I think what you need to do with GPT sites is switch off and on with them.
For example, concentrate on a few sites for 1 month, then if you see the offer completion rate decline, try some new ones. Usually (and this is my opinion only) if you are a new member, the offers approve faster because the site owners want you to use their site exclusively, so new members are a top priority, again, not to say that other members are not. It's just business.

G' Morning,

Another HOT day here in the heart of America! Hope the weather is more pleasant where you are...

My plans for today are to get as many offers done as possible. The last week or so has been a hair pulling, frustrating experience for me because I wasn't getting credited on ANYTHING. I decided to run a spyware scan on my computer Saturday, and found 2 issues. I cleared them, and the offers started clearing one right after the other. So my advice to anyone out there having the same issue. RUN A SPYWARE SCAN! I used McAfee's virus scan, and that also picks up, grayware, malware, and spyware. I now do a daily scan, and since that slows the computer down a bit, I go and get chores done in the house while that runs.

Hey all, Just a short entry to show you the check that arrived from Pickuploot.com. Nice surprise. I HAVE AN ALERT FOR MY GPT FRIENDS OUT THERE...BEFORE I BEGIN, I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT I AM NOT RACIST IN ANYWAY. I have friends from all walks of life spanning this globe, and proud to have them...Lord knows they got me through some really tough times!
Anyway....
I was sitting here at my computer reading an email and one of the GPT sites that I click for and something struck me as odd ...First, their English was really bad...I am not talking a little muttled, I am talking EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE WITH ERRORS.

We all are told that if we get spam emails like this promising us 10,000,000 dollars if we transfer the money to a US bank account for them that we are to report them right?

Also, we all assume that GPT owners are United States based right? WRONG!!!

I hear that people all over the world can own these sites especially wherever Pay pal is accepted.

What if some GPT sites are owned by people that live outside the United States and they mean to do us harm by having us make money for their organization? I mean, they have our personal information, what is stopping them from using it against us?

For now on, I am going to be more careful with who I am affiliated with...I already deleted one of my accounts with the weekly GPT site I was using, just because of their shear rudeness and because they think I am stupid or something...No, I am not stupid, I caught on is what he or she may be up to.

If you ever get a suspicion, you have the right to find out where your money is coming from.

Ask them if they are based in the United States, and if they are residents fine. If you are suspicious, then use your best judgment from there. I mean, this person even told me they don't have to give their name to me...That right there is suspicious activity. I know ALL the GPT owners I deal with BY NAME, and I know where all of them are based, so I wanted to put everybody's mind at ease that if you sign up through a GPT site through me, THEY ARE THOROUGHLY CHECKED BY ME PERSONALLY.

Also, check the full headers on an email they sent you and see where the email is coming from next time. Look for the "from" IP address and check to see if it's US based. I am not saying that this a sure way to tell if the GPT is actually here in the US, and I am not saying that only US citizens should own these sites. I am just saying we have a right to know who we are dealing with. If we accept payments from someone that is affiliated with ANY groups that go against the patriot act, then we could inadvertently be party to their doings.

Get my drift?
If you are ever in doubt with who you are dealing with, delete the account. It's not worth it! Some of you may think I am neurotic, but you have to be in this day and age.

Hey to everyone!

I just wanted to remind my GPT friends out there to be careful about doing the SAME offers more than once on other sites...
They DO trace these and with the GPT sites on high alert for fraudulent accounts, they WILL delete you if they find this type of activity whether it was intentional or not.
So what can you do to prevent this? Glad you asked ;-)

First, write down your offers in a notebook or on a notepad -you can save this file on your computer. You will not believe how handy this can be.

Second, Be dedicated to only a handful of sites- There are hundreds of these sites out there! if you know what sites work for you, stick with them. This makes remembering the offers you been to a lot easier.

Third-Do certain offers only on one site, and do other offers on another- For example, Do generous genie offers ONLY on Fairy Tale Treasure, and so Consumer Beat offers on Cash Safari ect.

Fourth and this is the most important - Use ONLY true and correct information!
This means no fake zips, addresses, phone numbers ect.

Following these simple tips will greatly reduce your chance of committing fraud less likely.

Friday, my computer decided to throw a tantrum, so I sat here and reformatted the hard drive.

Yes, Evening...Well, night now...I decided to get some clicks in on FTT and My Cash Safari before turning in and while the kiddos are sleeping.

I don't have a lot of time to write, but some important information I wanted to pass along is about IP addresses and completing GPT offers.

As you know, Most companies want USA originating traffic completing their offers right? Well, I came across some information today that could get more offers completed for those who are not having much luck.

MAKE SURE YOUR IP ADDRESS SHOWS YOU ARE IN THE USA. Do you know that your IP address may show another country? Yeah, news to me too.

This is how you fix it. This information applies mainly to Dial up users, but may benefit anyone:
make sure your dynamic IP address is showing that you are withing the USA.
To do this, you need to do 2 things:
1. know your IP address for your internet session if you are on dial up.

ISPs assign you a temporary IP address called a "Dynamic" IP address. This is different from your permanent Windows IP. To locate your Dynamic IP address in windows XP, follow these steps while your computer is connected to the internet:

Start>>Control Panel>>>Network connections.
Right click on the connection that is using the internet and click on Status. Click on details and the IP address you want is the last one listed. It is called the "Client" IP address.

2. go to http://whois.domaintools.com/ and enter the ip address you want to look at. The information in the first box is the most important. You should see an American flag. If you see anything other than that, you need to sign off your connection, and retry.

repeat the steps until you are on a USA IP assigned address.

I hope this helps some of you who have been doing the offers as told, and still frustrated with offers not clearing.

My weekend was great! I didn't touch my computer at all this weekend because I was feeling a little burnout going on. Weekends are family time for me, and Sunday my guy and I went to see

Hello all,
Well, it's Friday the 13th...That means no walking on cracks, under ladders or crossing paths of the black cat.

Hi all,
I am deciding to make it a pogo day to get my game badges, and do a few surveys, but that's going to be about it for me. I worked my tushy off on Fairy Tale Treasure yesterday and got a bonus for it. I also submitted a news article for AC which I think is really good.

My birthday was great! I had a small party with my kids and hubby, then hubby took me to dinner.
I received some money from my grandmother, which is now in the hospital. She collapsed on Saturday and was basically flat lined for a few minutes. The ambulance crew revived her and today she is getting a heart catheterization sometime today. The money I make on the GPT sites and AC I am putting back for a flight home, in case something happens.

Hello!
Another Manic Monday, and so much to do. I took out an ad on craigslist so I can drum up some referrals for Associated Content, and when I woke up this morning, it was pandemonium in my inbox! Hopefully it will get some referrals under my belt.
As you see on the title, it's my birthday. My hubby woke me up with breakfast in bed, and my kids sang me the Happy Birthday song. The little sweeties....
I am going to try not to be online so much today. One of the GPT sites I click for is having a contest today. For every 15 offers that complete, you get a $3.00 bonus. I want to try to get in at least 15 offers, and then I am offline the rest of the day.

If you still haven't checked out FTT (Fairy Tale Treasure) I have one question for you. Why? I am totally hooked on that site! Try it out. I swear, you won't be disappointed!

Well, yesterday I was able to get a few more bucks in my wallet for August, plus build more site traffic. For the weekend, I am just going to work here and there, when I get a chance. I am not going to exert myself that much. Time to spend with my family is what weekends are made for.

I got off to a late start today, No problem. My focus today is on learning more about Squidoo lenses, and hanging out on my GPT sites (Fairy Tale treasure, Cash Crate ect.) There are 3 more I am going to check out also, one is offering an Ipod Nano for $150.00 in offers done. That would be nice to have!

I signed up for another GPT site today called paycage.com. I don't know how it works out yet, but according to my friend Amy, she is doing well on it. She is a huge inspiration to me! She is trying to pay off $72,000 of debt off in 18 months! She is off to a great start!

If you ever had an interest in writing short, informative articles, or wanted to voice your opinion, Associated content is the place to do it! It is completely free to sign up and write, and they pay very quickly, Articles need to be at least 400 words long, and be completely original content from you! Content managers usually offer $3.00- $10.00 per offer, and there is a performance bonus too! The nicest thing is 99% of articles are made an offer for payment. Fairy tale Treasure< Fairy Tale Treasures is a brand new site, just been around since April 2007. The great benefit to that is the fact that you have the opportunity to get a lot of referrals because not very many people are members yet. However, you don't have to have any referrals to make money.
I joined on June 12, 2007 and took my first look around on the site. I got a $1 sign-up bonus right when I signed-up so I knew I only had to get $9 more in order to test out their payout system. I got that with a matter of minutes!

*IMPORTANT TIP ON ALL GPT SITES:

Clean your junk cookies between each offer EVERYTIME. When you do one offer, it puts cookies on your computer from the advertiser so they can tell you have already been there. If you don't clear out these cookies and you go on to do more, you may not get credit because it shows you as have already done one with that advertiser.

You can clean out all your cookies, but if you do, you will have to sign back in with cashcrate because you wont be signed in anymore. To do this you can do the following:
1. Go to "Tools" in the taskbar on the top of your web browser.
2. Click on "Internet Options"
3. Click on "Delete Cookies", "Delete Files", and "Clear History"
4. Do this after 'completing' each offer and you will see a greater number of offer approvals.

You can manually do it by going to tools, options, cookies, view cookies and deleting all the cookies except what you need such as cashcrate and any other important sites you belong to.

However, if you want to save time and automate the cookie cleaning, I would suggest downloading a cookie cleaning program from http://www.ccleaner.com, you can specifiy which cookies you want to keep and it will delete the rest for you with the click of a button. I USE THIS PROGRAM AND IT IS SOOOOO USER FRIENDLY!

This site is very useful in keeping track of all your earnings in one place, PLUS it allows you to check off the offers you already done. This avoids repeating offers and lowers the risk of unintentional fraud
